Porto Voto tracks two kinds of progress: a global user level from your total engagement points, and a separate country level for every nation you represent when voting. The titles are playful and the goal is to celebrate participation, not to rank who was “right”.
How you earn points
Points feed your global user level and appear on your public profile. Right now there are three ways to earn them. You do not get extra points for picking the winning option, only for taking part or helping improve the platform.
+5 points
Earn points each time you submit a ballot on an open event. They are awarded whether or not your pick wins.
Explore events+20 points
Flag inaccurate dates, options, or other facts on an event page. Points are awarded if moderators apply the fix.
+50 points
Propose a new event with enough context for moderators to evaluate it. Points are awarded if it is accepted.

Per country
When you vote, you can represent any country or the World. Each country keeps its own level based on how many ballots you cast while representing that country, independent of your global user level.
