Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. By September 2026 the war was in its fifth year. Ahead of the UN General Assembly, Secretary-General António Guterres again asked for an immediate ceasefire as the first step toward a just and lasting peace, in line with the UN Charter and international law. An immediate ceasefire would stop the fighting before a full political agreement. A settlement that includes Russian withdrawal would tie peace to Russia leaving territory it has taken. No outside peace plan would mean foreign governments do not press a plan of their own. This poll asks what you think they should press for first.

Advanced artificial intelligence means computer systems that can do difficult intellectual work, and that may become much more capable than today's tools. On 23 September 2026 the UN Security Council met on AI and international security. The heads of OpenAI, Anthropic and Hugging Face briefed the Council. Experts warned that a race to build more powerful systems could go wrong through misuse or loss of control. France, which held the Council presidency, called for a common framework for the most advanced models. The United States rejected a global system of control and said each country should make its own laws. China said the technology should not be reserved for rich countries. The UN has no binding treaty on advanced AI. This poll asks whether you prefer binding international rules, national laws only, or no new rules written specially for AI.

Coal, oil and gas are called fossil fuels. Burning them produces most of the gases heating the planet. On 23 September 2026, at the UN Climate Summit in New York, Secretary-General António Guterres asked every country for a credible plan to leave fossil fuels, with clear dates. He said the G20, which produces about 80 percent of global emissions, should lead, and that the change should protect workers. Governments disagree on how strict those dates should be. Some want one shared global date. Others want each country to set its own timeline. Germany presented a national plan that day, including an end to fossil fuels in its energy sector by 2045. Some governments reject a deadline of any kind. This poll asks which approach you support. It is not a prediction of what the UN will decide.

On Sunday 11 October 2026, voters in Slovenia answer four separate questions. One vote is binding. The other three are consultative: parliament is asking for the public's view, and it does not have to follow the result. The binding question is whether amendments to the Parliamentary Inquiry Act should enter into force. The consultative questions are whether cash social assistance for people who are able to work should depend on socially useful work; whether the local vote should be limited to Slovenian citizens and citizens of other EU countries; and whether the compulsory payment that funds Radiotelevizija Slovenija programmes should end. Polling stations are open from 7:00 to 19:00. People who cannot vote on Sunday can vote early on 6, 7 and 8 October.

Voters in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique elect all 15 members of the House of Representatives on Thursday 5 November 2026. Eight seats are enough for a majority. Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell leads the National Democratic Congress, which won 9 seats in June 2022. Emmalin Pierre leads the New National Party, which won 6 seats then. She is the first woman to lead that party into a general election. Peter David leads the Democratic People’s Movement, which he launched on 16 November 2025. The cost of living is the main campaign issue. The New National Party says it would remove value added tax from sugar and electricity and reverse a new levy on water. Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell and opposition leader Emmalin Pierre have both called for a national debate on those plans. The official list of nominated candidates is not published yet.

Taiwan holds nine-in-one local elections on 28 November 2026 for mayors and county magistrates, city and county councillors, township mayors, and village and borough chiefs across six special municipalities and 16 counties and cities. Official ballots are drawn up for each locality, so the candidates and party line-ups are not the same everywhere. On Porto Voto, voters in Taiwan and elsewhere pick a single nationwide preference among the main parties, remaining smaller parties, or independents. Results here are community sentiment only.

Eurovision Song Contest Asia is the first edition of the contest for broadcasters across Asia. Eleven countries share one live final at One Bangkok Forum in Bangkok on Saturday 14 November 2026, hosted by Woody Milintachinda and Cindy Bishop at about 19:30 local time. Each song is at most three minutes, and the winner is chosen by an even split of jury and public votes. Read up on each act, then rank the entry you most want to win.
