ZAFSouth Africa 2026 - Local Government Elections
On 4 November 2026, South Africans elect the councillors who run their municipalities, from the largest cities to small towns. Each real ballot is local. Parties and ward candidates differ from place to place, and many municipalities list far more parties than a short poll can show. This Porto Voto event asks one nationwide question for people in South Africa and abroad: which party do you want to see come out ahead across the country? Remaining registered parties covers parties that are not shown separately.
